Welcome to Who? What? Where? When? Why? on the World Wide Web. Your comments, criticism and suggestions: editors#8w.forix.com (replace # with @).
8W is forix.autosport.com's motorsport history section and covers the drivers, cars, circuits, eras and technology that shaped the face, sounds and smells of motor racing.

Want to contribute?

Do you feel you can add to the wealth of motorsport history knowledge here at 8W? Then put yourself in the driving seat and submit your work to the editors. There are no limits to the subjects that you can choose - as long as they are within the realm of motorsports in general and Grand Prix racing in particular. Your article should have a historical angle and be based around the familiar 8W concept of Who, What, Where, When and Why, with the Why section containing the actual story and links to several other pictures.

We particularly invite experts on sportscar racing, single-seater feeder categories and non-European motorsport scenes to expand on the hitherto Grand Prix-biased themes on this site. Articles on motorsport's rarities and oddities - be it forgotten cars, forgotten drivers, forgotten era or forgotten tracks - are very much welcomed.
